Do I need an appointment?

Ve’Lace Bridal is a full service boutique and in order to provide the full experience we see our customers by appointment only. Assistance in choosing a gown requires our 100% full attention. Walk-ins without an appointment can be a hit or miss. To be safe, please do not take the trip to our store without calling ahead. If we have an open fitting room and an available consultant then we can assist you. If not, you may be asked to book an appointment or wait for a fitting room. If a fitting room is open but all consultants are busy you are welcome to try on gowns without the assistance of a consultant. We prefer you book an appointment to work with a consultant.

What should I bring to my appointment?

We ask that you bring references of styles that have been catching your eye online or in magazines. Although not required, it is helpful for you to bring along a heel height that you might wear on the day of your wedding. We also ask that you bring the friends and family whose presence will help make your decision. We do not have a guest limit although too many opinions and too much commotion may create a stressful environment. The number of guests will all depend on your comfort level. Remember, it’s your special day and should ultimately be what you want!

What should I expect at my first appointment?

Expect to be treated like a princess! First you will be greeted by your bridal consultant. Your guests will be directed to their seating area – a lovely comfortable couch with plenty of space. We will begin your consultation at the couch area. Ve’Lace Bridal is a full service bridal boutique. Although we do have gowns on display in the bridal suite, the majority of our wedding gowns are tucked in a back room area to help you from getting overwhelmed. The back room is for bridal consultants only. We are very knowledgeable in what we do and know exactly which gowns to pull for you. We do not allow photographs or cell phone use in the bridal suite area. If you find a gown you love but can’t commit you are welcome to revisit the boutique another time to help you make your decision. We will also keep record of the style or styles you want to revisit. We want this to be an easy, stress-free appointment for you. Our goal is to create an ultimate bridal experience and help you find the dress of your dreams.

I said Yes to the Dress, now what?

Now that you’ve said yes to the dress, it’s time to place the order! We will first take your measurements and suggest the best size and length for you. We ask that your invoice be paid in full however we do offer a partial payment plan. If choosing the payment plan, we require a 50% partial payment at the time of order and the remaining balance due within 14 days of dress arrival. We will discuss next steps with you and go over everything we offer to help complete you and your bridal party’s look!

How long do special order gowns take?

Most bridal gowns can take anywhere from 4 – 6 months and bridesmaids, mothers, and flower girls can take 3 – 4 months. We do offer a flower girl line called Rosebuds that are always in stock and ship same week. Our mothers dresses are sometimes in stock. If selecting the right style/color/size combination we may get lucky and be able to receive the dress right away. We are able to check inventory for in stock items during the appointment. Some of our bridal designers also have in stock gowns. If this is the case for the gown you choose then it will not take the full 4 – 6 months. Keep in mind that all ship dates are estimates and may come in earlier or later.  At an additional cost, rush delivery options are available for most designers. Please keep in mind that alterations are needed in most cases and will need to be considered for total lead time.
