Jillian & Travis say “I Do” in private nuptials during COVID-19 Pandemic
Love is in the air this spring, despite the Coronavirus pandemic. Countless weddings have been postponed, but with adjustments to accommodate social distancing and other restrictions, Jillian & Travis couldn’t wait and said “I Do” on April 25th, 2020.
Although their perfect day wasn’t as they originally imagined it to be, Jillian & Travis had a small and intimate ceremony in the gazebo at Lakeview Pavilion. One of our favorite venues!
Although they were missing some of the company of their loved ones, the newly wedded Portman’s were surprised by friends and family with a quarantine social distance celebration in their front yard!
Jillian said “yes” to a dramatic fit-and-flare gown by Stella York. The off-the-shoulder sleeves that meets the traditional sweetheart neckline and sexy sheer bodice was perfect for their intimate gazebo ceremony!

Em photographed her first wedding midst the pandemic (don’t worry, they practiced social distancing and took PPE precautions) and shared:
“Yesterday I was honored to witness and to capture an amazing day for these two people. They are such kindhearted, loving, and are genuinely good people. And with the pandemic not allowing them to share THE BEST DAY EVER with all the people who love them. They were still able to share an intimate ceremony together to become the Portman’s! Though today was not the day you were hoping for, it was still filled with love and warmth. We all felt the love you guys had for each other and I wish you guys nothing but many happy married years and many life blessings.”
Despite the stress and anxiety of the Coronavirus pandemic, Jillian and Travis found some creative ways during this challenging time. We love this picture with the bride and groom matching masks!
During these uncertain times, stories like Jillian and Travis are the perfect example that we are in this together. Together while apart!
